Play like an Egyptian
Boasting a 15 metre Sphinx, this popular events and functions venue is a one-of-a-kind tourist attraction. On top of creating the ultimate kid-friendly venue, the key to this project was maintaining the Egyptian theme and colour palette while creating a safe, functional playground for all ages. RhinoPlay transformed an otherwise unused space into a fully-customised Egyptian wonderland complete with hieroglyphic designs, giant Sphinx head and a royal photo booth.

Out with the old, a win with the new
We often get called in to remove and replace an existing playground, particularly when pubs are undertaking a renovation. By bringing us in from the start of this project, we could create an impressive custom design from scratch and work with the builders to ensure the project was as fast and seamless as possible. The fact there’s a 10 year warranty also guarantees the playground will last until the next time there’s a major renovation.

A small play space with big returns
Like many pubs and clubs, TWC were looking for an attractive play solution that worked within a small, underutilised indoor space. Using RhinoPlay’s CUBE™ modular play system, our designers were able to create a compact playground that still allowed for multiple slides, tunnels and activity panels, keeping kids entertained for longer. A new playground delivering immediate returns
When planning a major renovation, this large country pub questioned if it was worth integrating a whole new playground into the build – they already had a sizable playground on the premises. Thankfully they went ahead and quickly noticed a significant increase in family foot traffic including a whole new demographic of parents getting morning coffees and mid-week lunches. Housed within a glass room off the dining area, this playground is the perfect layout for both kids and their supervisors.

Rising to the challenge
The best playground design ideas often come from solving a challenge. In this case, a small space seemingly offered limited opportunities for a playground that would entertain and occupy older kids. But our designers worked closely with the client to create a unique cantilever design, using height rather than floor space to create a multilevel playground that quickly made this hotel the number one choice for local families.

In the zone
This popular RSL approached us with a difficult footprint – an L-shaped space on multiple levels. Our designers used this to their advantage, using toddler-appropriate activity panels in low-lying areas then running colourful slides across the length of the space for older kids. By essentially creating two ‘zones’, the playground is fun and safe for all age groups. And as with all RhinoPlay equipment, it’s easy to clean and durable enough to withstand years of safe and happy play.

Ninja Warrior course
We work with top family entertainment centres like Jumpside to create one-of-a-kind play solutions that families happily pay to enjoy. This client was looking for another activity drawcard to drive revenue, and decided to leverage the popularity of Ninja Warrior. Our designers used the phenomena as inspiration to create a custom-designed obstacle course that offers physical and cognitive development and challenges for all ages.
